Minutes of the July Membership Meeting - by Chris Turkali
First item of business was the treasury report.
Membership report listed 360 some odd people, but this isn't accurate.
Chris Turkali introduced Tim Stevens and Jack ODriscoll introduced Frank Bromley as prospective members.
Minutes approved as being printed by Sandi Kryder as seconded by Carl Holbrook.
No old business to report.
New Business
Need a Chief of Timing and Scoring for our August Double Regional on the 28th and 29th.
MVR region has been approached by Nelson Ledges for assistance in re-doing the workers shelters.
A lot of our drivers attended the Cincy Regional at Mid-Ohio. Rainy weather, cement patches on the track and the new Hoosier tires were an issue at this event. Car count seemed low at a $265 entry fee.
Scott Lane showed up at 8:20 pm. He had been working on the PA system and lighting for the NEOhio's 12HR Enduro.
The price on private testing at Nelson Ledges is $250.00 per car and driver. No racing, just testing.

MVR August Double Regional
Our next event for 2004 is the Double Regional on August 28-29th. Entries have been mailed and are available online at www.mvrscca.org or www.kryderacing.com.
As always - workers are needed.
As a driver, if you find
that you can’t race, why don’t you come out and work. There is not a speciality
that does not need help. We do on the job training.
