TRACK - AUGUST, 2005 ISSUE

MINUTES OF THE JULY MEMBERSHIP MEETING

Meeting started at 8:05 pm.

Attendance at meetings are starting to pick up, but with 204+ members, more membership participation would be appreciated.

First item to approve minutes from June, and there were no minutes.

This is our second meeting at our new restaurant, "West Fork Roadhouse" on Belmont Ave in Liberty.
The food and service were very good.

Treasurer's Report - We have money.

Membership Report - We have 204 members.

Old Business:

No finance report on our national, but it appears we made money. We had 186 cars and getting good reports.

New Business:

Cliff McCandless made a motion to move money from the checking account to a savings or money market account for better interest rates. Bill Pintaric said he would look into it, but on occasion some banks will not allow clubs or organizations to proceed with these kind of transactions. Cliff then asked to rescind his motion and asked the board of trustees to look into it.

Amy Ruman and Csaba Bujdoso participated in the Trans-Am Race at the Cleveland Grand Prix. Amy claimed the 10th place and Csaba 14th.

Carl Holbrook made a motion for the region to put up sponsor money for anyone participating in the Western Ohio Region (W.O.R.) games at Mid-Ohio. Cliff McCandless seconded the motion. The Motion passed.

Motion to adjourn, second by all.
